Mikey love, Boise, Idaho (can extend up to 6 weeks, if wanted)

About this assignment

someone to be caring and kind to Mikey who asks so little but loves to go to sunset dog park to play with his friends. he listens well to the cues of other dogs, for example, if they don't want to chase, play, or wrestle, as he loves to do. he is kind and gentle and loves kids.
On leash he has to be reminded to have "nice manners" (and he sits) when passing other dogs.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

take mikey around the block 2 times/day, or let him out to pee and poop /3 x a day.
he loves to go to the "sunset" dog park at the least twice a week for a half hour.or so, or go for a longer walk in the foothills. 5 blocks away.
Pet sitter can use my car and our bikes.

What are the good features of the property and location

- 2 1/2 bedrooms, 1 bath
-quiet street with nice neighbors, close to downtown and the foothills in easy biking or walking distance, to music, restaurants, etc
-small easy to care for home.
-lots of vegetables to munch on in the garden, during growing season.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Extended times are available if you wish.
mikey is a really good boy, super easy going, loves children; people either think he is so darn handsome or, they are a little intimidated by his strong body and big head. he loooks intimidating but he is sweet as pie.
he is very treat responsive and likes to learn!

Can I bring my own pets?

Yes
Restrictions: if they get along with Mikey and are not destructive
