Old Town of El Puerto de Santa Maria, Spain!

About this assignment

I am looking for a responsible cat-sitter who will not mind the cats sleeping with them! Our house is right in the middle of the casco antiguo, or old town, and right above Taberna la Gaviota, so it can be a little noisy, but we love the street sounds. Our ideal cat-sitter loves cats, is responsive, and sends updates.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

The only responsibility will be to care for our three cats, Chloe, Cosmos, and Chase. That includes feeding them, providing water, and cleaning the litter box daily, as well as making sure they don't escape the house!

What are the good features of the property and location

El Puerto is a beautiful old coastal town on the Costa de la Luz in the province of Cádiz. We are right in the middle of the old town next to the 15th-century castle, and so many things are in walking distance: the ferry terminal to the city of Cádiz, the train station, many restaurants, cafes, and ice-cream shops, tapas bars and flamenco shows! You really don't need a car!

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Our cats are very affectionate and like to sit on your lap and sleep on the bed, although we don't let them on the kitchen table or counters. You also need to be flexible with the bar noise that is sometimes loud on the weekends, but which is muted when the windows are shut. We love the sounds of the street cafes, but this is not a "silent" place, it's in the middle of a city!
