Lovable rescue dog, 2 cats and poultry need carers in Cornwall

About this assignment

We need someone to care for our 12 year old rescue Whippet x Collie bitch who loves walking and playing ball as well as cuddles. Also 2 x 17 year old cats who are also affectionate, and our 26 hens. Dates we require are 11th to 30th June 2026.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding,walking and generally caring for our animals as if they were their own. Minding the house and coping with any situations that may arise. Depending on the season watering in polytunnel and small greenhouse, veg garden. and grass cutting (not the paddock)..

What are the good features of the property and location

Wood pellet fired central heating, WiFi with Superfast broadband. Quiet, friendly, rural village with pleasant walks from the house as well as on Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and the Coastal Path.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

A car is essential. This is a non-smoking household. Our rescue dog has a separation anxiety so cannot be left alone for long periods, but does love travelling by car.
