About this assignment
We have some busy weeks coming up in May/June and need a loving pair of hands to help out .. if you want to come over and hang out .. it would be just great .. to have a lovely pair of hands - car available. A confident organised kind person/family living in our home. You must be alert, tidy and thoughtful to your surroundings. This is a no fee position but you will have a glorious home for the time in East Anglia and a great song to sing at the end of the month!
Check out the Suffolk Coast - you will have a wonderful time.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
To look after a small delightful dog (who is a tad older than the photo) and 2 low maintenance cats and keep the dishwasher going would be fab! - for the dogs find time for walks and fun .. just covering where we are not .......!
What are the good features of the property and location
We live in the most lovely house ... 7 miles from the sea - in East Anglia, where the clouds are big & white and the sky is so very blue - I am an interior designer so it could be a lovely treat if you love colour & detail. Ideally we would meet or skype before the actual event or chat lots on line.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
You REALLY will need to drive to enjoy being here unless you have a great bike (if you have a clean license we can help with a car) - as the newsagents is a mile or so away - of course you can walk .. the dog is just lovely but too old for big walks as deaf and a tad blind ... but then running round East Anglia is wonderful .. its a village house, so be prepared for spiders, space and the post man bringing a pocket full of dog biscuits! You will need to be part of the family and not afraid of being self motivated.

Restrictions: Single dogs welcome - any more may cause a riot!

An amazing introduction to house sitting and not enough space to say it all!
Any reservations I'd had about house sitting soon disappeared with my first house sitting in beautiful Suffolk. Julia and Peter were so welcoming, cheerful and friendly. I was immediately made to feel at ease in this colourful and peaceful house, with everything you need for a very relaxing stay. Aggie and Walter were delightful dogs who were so calm and well behaved that I often took them out with me! There are so many places to see within a short distance and with no traffic jams, making a very pleasant change. If you are chosen to house sit here, you certainly won't be disappointed.
