Tranquil and relaxing
We cannot say enough wonderful things about staying at Casa Lunita. Being at a place that was built 1800s was amazing. Caroline and Crystal are very easy to talk to and were very attentive to any questions or concerns that we had. The courtyard and pool are amazing. It’s like stepping into a whole new world when you walk in. The best part of the sit was definitely Azula, Alita, and Fiona. They each have their own wonderful personality and are very easy to fall in love with. We are missing them already. We would definitely recommend Casa Lunita anyone that has the opportunity to go there. Thanks again for the opportunity to experience life in Baca!

A haven for lovers of nature, animals, and blissful quiet
We housesat for Crystal and Carolyn from early December 2014 to late April 2015, and it was a remarkable experience. They're wonderful people to work with - organized, communicative, and caring. They made sure the house was equipped with firewood, etc. and that we knew how to operate the wood stoves and rest of the house. Their friends and family were in touch, so we didn't feel isolated, and could enjoy the silence of their beautiful woods. The animals - cats and dogs - went on hikes with us and were very friendly. The town of Athens is a gem - check out free bicycles at the library!
