About this assignment
Looking for a gentle woman to house sit to care for shy kittie and water plants. Apologies to any gentlemen, as Phoebe is more afraid of men.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Responsibilities: feeding dry food and some wet food, cleaning litter box. We have some plants that will require watering, on an almost daily basis.
What are the good features of the property and location
New house in south central Colorado, outside of charming and historic Salida. The area is an outdoor paradise, boasting hiking trails, mountain bike trails, river sports (fly fishing, kayaking,rafting).
Salida is a charming town, with shops and restaurants, and vibrant music and arts scenes.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Kittie cat Phoebe is very shy, will take coaxing and treats to win her over. She is very sweet! She of course sleeps most of the time, coming out for food and a bit of attention.
Can I bring my own pets?

Lovely owners in an amazing place
I've looked after Cosmo and Phoebe for 3 weeks in July 19. Cosmo needed a medecine twice a day and it was not a big deal ! He is really sweet and easy going. Phoebe is a bit shy at first but adorable as well. She spent a lot of time with me at home, asking for cuddles. If you sit for Gwen and Mike, the owners, you will enjoy their warm welcoming. They are really cool and interesting people. I really enjoyed my stay to Miami Lakes. The house is convenient and charming, located in an amazing neighbourhood. The lake behind the yard provide an amazing view with stunning sunsets ! It is a peaceful place to work and rest. I highly recommand this assignment for the two appealing cats, the kindness of Gwen and Mike and the wonderful area !

Mi Casa Su Casa
Gwen was a most accommodating and helpful host. The cats were not much trouble. I enjoyed eating the mangoes and papaya on the property. The small spring fed lake was an added feature I enjoyed. This is a great location for access to Miami without feeling your in the midst of the bustling city!
