Feed the birds .Lock doors and gate at night

We live on a hill with beautiful views of Chateau de Charge and in the distance and a town on a hill , we have lovely sunsets

Car available with the correct driving license.Enjoy the country side and walking.

Mike and Shirley have a lovely, cozy country home with only one older cat, Rosie, to tend to and she keeps very much to herself. They accomodated me a day prior to the start of my sit, which was useful, because there were a few things around the 17th century house to be minded. I was allowed to invite my son over Christmas and we took tours to Richelieu, Amboise/ Clos de Lucé (Leonardo da Vincis home during his last years), Chinon, Chenonceaux, Saumur and Tours. I highly recommend this sit for a person or a couple who don't mind the solitude of a single "ferme" in the countryside.

Idyllic location with lovely owners
Shirley and Mike are very welcoming home owners. Their house is charming and has a lovely garden with mature fruit trees which you are encouraged to eat from! Their home is ideal for anyone who loves nature and animals and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and woods with walking trails. Rosie the cat has a nervous disposition but is very cuddly and friendly once she gets to know you. We hope to keep in touch with the owners and visit again!

Lovely home and owners.
It was an absolute pleasure looking after Mike and Shirley's home and taking care of their cat Rosie. Truly kind, loving, and funny people. Looking after the garden, caring for the cat and filling the bird feeder was quite easy. We also got to meet their neighbor friends and had fun sharing meals and stories. A rental car is definitely needed but I found a good deal at Sixt in nearby Tours. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning. :)
