About this assignment

Hello, we are looking for a house sitters, for 3 weeks, from the 9th May untill the 30th of May.
We had a house sitter booked but unfortunately she had to cancel and our holiday is booked, so if you are free those dates and feel you would like to come to Ireland we would be delighted to have you.

Someone who is used to animals, a dog lover is a must.. At present we have 1 rough collie,1 shih tzu they are very well behaved and each one is kenneled individually.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

To look after our 2 dogs, and of course look after our home. The dogs do not need exercise but if you are inclined you can bring them for a walk if you wish they are both lead trained.

What are the good features of the property and location

Our home is situated in the middle of the Golden Vale with spectacular views of the Galtee Mountains, it is in a very rural area, and only 2 miles from the local village. Our property has all the mod cons needed for easy living i.e. satellite television Wi-Fi and Internet. It is a great area to walk it is full of wildlife deer foxes etc

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

The last week in April until approximately the 25th of May 2026

The house sitters who will apply for this assignment must like living in the country will
be used to dogs and would be available from
May and be available to sit 3/4 weeks between these dates, they are not set in stone, so if you are interested, get in touch and we will discuss exact dates.
In my opinion, from experience a couple would be very suited to this assignment, I do not want to hear from young people who want to mind my fur babies, mature people would be preferred, by my wife and I. Thank you. Maurice and Mary.
