About this assignment
Hello
We are looking for people who would like to take care of our 3 cats for 1 week whilst enjoying everything London has to offer.
Non-smokers only, please.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Feeding the cats twice a day;
Taking care of their litter, of course.
The cats are lovely, friendly. The older one loves attention whilst the two other ones, born during COVID confinements, are much more shy. The older one is starting to show signs of dementia, but nothing more than occasional loud meowing.
It would be good also if you could manage to keep the patio’s flowers alive...
What are the good features of the property and location
London UK, zone 3...
- Lovely terraced house with small patio, very quiet place full of books
- Large collection of DVDs and video-projector
- Train station 5min away will lead you directly to the city centre within 25min;
- 30min direct to Victoria or London Bridge train stations;
- Easy commute if you arrive from Gatwick;
- buses directly outside the flat to go to the very centre of London
- 15min from Brixton, now a vibrant place full of lovely restaurants, art house cinema
- Art house cinema (4 screens), 7min walk from the house.
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
I don’t think there is anything specific to consider that we have not detailed above - always happy to respond to any question each specific sitter may have.

A cozy house in South London with very sweet cats
I had a great time staying here. Celine and Nadege gave clear instructions to make taking care of the cats very easy, and they were quick to answer any questions along the way. The cats are all so relaxed and friendly. They might be shy at first but eventually they make great company. There are also several friendly neighborhood cats who come to sit in the back garden. This is a lovely place for someone who likes peaceful mornings or evenings, but it's also not too far to get to the city. There is a train station nearby on the high street and also a convenient bus to Brixton. Definitely recommended for anyone who would like a quiet space to explore South London from!

A London Oasis
I had such a lovely few weeks caring for Celine’s feline family and home this summer. The three cats are beautiful, spent equal time indoors and out this summer season and liked to enjoy the sun in the garden at the back of the house and to keep the neighbourhood cats in their place. Celine’s home is a terraced house with very quiet neighbours on a lovely plant-lined street with beautiful parks only walks away, a five minute walk from the action of the local town with a thriving community and tube station and around the corner from a great bus connection. Celine left me fully armed with cat food, with the tips and tricks of the home and everything I could need (including forwarding money for extras needed for the house) and was available if I needed anything on the telephone…! What a beautiful sit and I miss the darlings so much… and look forward to returning soon and seeing Celine and Nad…!

Great place, even greater hospitality with 3 snugly friends.
I’ve done cat sitting for Celine and her three adorable girls twice. The three girls are so easy to take care and they are all so loving with their different personalities. The house is in beautiful area with easy access to central London. Celine was very helpful and provided very clear instructions before and during her absent. If you are looking for a place close to central London but yet comfortable and quite with a beautiful little garden then Celine’s place is the one for you.

I had a great time watching Celine's kitties for 2 weeks in the summer at her cozy 2-story flat. Celine was very responsive whenever I had questions and was very accommodating and made me feel right at home. Though I never got a chance to actually meet her, she was always accessible by text! I would gladly sit for her again!

Adorable cats, lovely home
We watched Celine's home and two sweet cats for a couple of weeks and really enjoyed it. The home is cozy and welcoming with a private backyard area where we spent a lot of time cooking on the grill and relaxing with cats beside us. We'd love to sit for Celine again when we're in London.

Cat sitting in London
It was a great pleasure for me to sit the two cats of Céline and Nadesh. They are very sweet, easy to handle and really communicative (I think, they learnt a new foreign language from me, German!). The house is cosy and - something very important for me - calm and peaceful, a perfect place for a silent retreat. At the same time, you have all the excitements of London which is easy to reach by public transport. Very recommandable! I wish Céline and Nadesh and the two sweethearts good luck.

Wonderful stay, fabulous house.
I completed a housesit for Celine in June 2018, looking after her lovely house and 2 cats. The house is in a great location, and is clean, bright and homely. Celine made me feel relaxed and comfortable and gave great instructions for looking after the house. The cats were fun and a joy to care for, and I was able to spent time with them lounging in the sun in the garden. It was a pleasure looking after them and the house and a great experience and way to spend time in London, throughly recommend!
