About this assignment
We need someone who is conscientious and reliable to stay in our home while we are gone. We are looking for someone who is clean and tidy and will look after our home and keep it safe and in good condition.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Responsibilities are mainly in keeping our property safe and in good order. We have a large garden which will need minimal care. Although we have a pool it will be closed for the season and need no further maintenance. We have a regular gardener who keeps the lawns mowed.
What are the good features of the property and location
Our house is comfortable and cozy. Our kitchen is very well equipped with all new top appliances. It is a delight for gourmet cooks. Our beds are new Tempur pedic and very comfortable. Top of the line washer and dryer are convenient. We have satellite television for the living room and office with English channels, Netflix, apple tv, etc. All the bells and whistles. Outside we have a lovely terrace looking out onto our pretty gardens. It is quiet, peaceful and equipped with furniture for dining and relaxing. A bbq is there, as well.
Our home is just outside our small village. The house is within easy reach of anything you need for day to day living. The pretty and buzzy villages of Duras and Eymet are within 5 to 20 minutes respectively. Many other lovely villages are nearby, as well.

Anyone interested in staying at our home will need a car or some sort of transportation. We will not be providing one.

Total delight
Looking after Archie was a total delight. He is the sweetest little guy and came everywhere with us. Mickey and Carl are lovely people - their house is beautiful with all mod cons. We were as warm as toast even during stormy weather. Their instructions were detailed and specific and we had no trouble understanding Archie's routine and likely responses. We so much enjoyed our stay and will be making an effort to see this family again.
