About this assignment
We are looking for a RELIABLE, CLEAN, FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE COUPLE, who love dogs, gardens and the serenity of semi remote home. MUST be clean and respectful of our home, have working knowledge of pools, basic Spanish is a bonus and basic home maintenance and trouble shooting skills.
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter
Watching over, loving and playing with our 3 very friendly cuddly rescued dogs (Harley 7 & Stella 10, Jake 5), as well as keeping our home and pool clean.
NOTE: Our B&B will be closed for the duration of the house sit.
What are the good features of the property and location
Lovely, Spanish style (semi remote) mountain home, tranquil setting with a stunning 360 degree view of both mountains and ocean. Infinity pool overlooking the surrounding landscape and Pacific Ocean. Super sunrises and sunsets. Reliable Starlink Internet. 25 minutes from the popular beach town of Coronado, 25 minutes from the quaint mountain village of El Valle and 90 minutes from Panama City (Tocumen Airport).
What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment
Basic Spanish is a bonus. Good working knowledge of pools, home maintenance and water/electrical trouble shooting skills, a love for dogs and gardens and excellent housekeeping skills. Financially secure.

Panama Paradise with the Coolest Dogs!
We had an amazing time housesitting for Randy and Wanda! From the moment we met, their warm and welcoming personalities made us feel like we had known them for years. We hit it off so well, it was tough to see them go! But then came the main event: the three furry musketeers! First, there's Stella (aka Stelly Belly), a total princess who gets what she wants because she's just so darn cute. Then there's Jake (aka Jakey), the effortlessly cool kid of the group and he knows it but deep down he is a cuddle bunny, and finally, Harley (aka Harley D), a sweet and goofy ball chaser who loves to be in the action. They quickly trained us on the local customs—which, as it turns out, involved lots of snuggling, endless ball games, and galloping down the path on our nightly walks. Their unique personalities stole our hearts, and we're already missing them like crazy. We may need to have a zoom call with them soon. The house itself is just breathtaking, yet it feels so cozy and comfortable. Even though it's a little remote, we were never bored. We got to pick tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, and peppers right from the garden and collected juicy limes and mangoes from the trees. The swimming pool is an added bonus. And the views? Absolutely incredible—we even caught a spectacular meteor shower one night! Randy and Wanda were the perfect hosts. They were super easy to communicate with and always there when we needed help. They were so kind and thoughtful—they showed us all the best spots around the area and even cooked us some delicious meals. They left detailed notes about the house and the dogs. We can't wait to come back, hang out with them, and of course, get some more puppy snuggles. We feel so lucky that they trusted us with their home and their amazing pups. We would wholeheartedly recommend this housesit to anyone looking for a wonderful experience with incredible people and the most lovable dogs. XX Michelle & Simon

Beautiful Hawk's Nest
Our two-month house sit at the enchanting Hawk's Nest this summer was an experience we'll always treasure. Randy and Wanda, our hosts, were incredibly welcoming and generous. From picking us up from the airport to providing us with a truck for transportation, they ensured our stay was comfortable and convenient. The home offered a spacious bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen, making us feel right at home. Communication with Randy and Wanda was smooth and effortless, both before and during our stay. They were always available to help with any questions, adding to the ease of our experience. The property itself is nestled atop a mountain, offering stunning views, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, and the awe-inspiring sights of thunderstorms. The garden was a joy to explore, adorned with a variety of flowers and exotic fruits previously unknown to us. The location is ideal, with a basic food shop just 10 minutes away by car and the city of Coronado, along with its beaches, only 30 minutes away. However, the true highlight of our stay were the three dogs – Stella, Harley, and Jake. They brought endless joy to our days with their playful antics and affectionate cuddles. Living at Hawk's Nest was a delightful and heartwarming experience. We left with fond memories and a strong bond with Randy, Wanda, and their adorable pets. We're excited to keep in touch and are grateful for such an unforgettable summer!

Tropical Paradise in the Mountains of Panama
This housesit FAR exceeded our expectations, and from the minute we met Wanda and Randy, we knew we had hit the JACKPOT! They were both super friendly and welcoming (and even picked us up from the airport 2 hours away), and we could not have asked for a more beautiful, peaceful property to watch over while they were away. All three dogs, Sally, Stella, and Harley quickly bonded with us, and we fell in love with each of them! It was very hard to leave them, and we took lots of pictures of their precious faces for our memories! :) We looked forward to our daily walks with them and sweet cuddles on the couch each evening. Both Wanda and Randy gave us a thorough tour of the area and the responsibilities of our sit with written instructions, and they were always quick to respond to questions we had about various things. We felt extremely confident in our duties and safe at the house - where we spent a good bit of our time because the property was so beautiful. The views were incomparable, and we picked fruits from the trees and swam in the pool daily. The house had all the bells and whistles, and we enjoyed making pizza dough in their breadmaker and cooking delicious dinners only steps away from a sky full of stars. We were sad to leave, but we hope someday in the future to be able to visit again :) Probably one of the most amazing places in the world. Thank you Randy and Wanda for choosing us to care for your pups and share your slice of Heaven for a short while.

Simply amazing!
Our housesit for Randy and Wanda in June 2019 was one of the most amazing experiences we have had - we are very grateful! Randy and Wanda were wonderful to sit for - we were provided with written instructions on everything we needed to know and a very well organized house (amazing Wanda!) which made it very easy to look after their beautiful property. And beautiful Hawksnest is...we were treated to gorgeous sunny mornings overlooking the stunning views from this mountain paradise, and some very awe-inspiring thunderstorms at night! We went back and forth to town for supplies and enjoyed living on the mountain top - perfect for sitters who want solitude but still great access for shopping, dining, etc. The four furry ladies of Hawksnest captured our hearts, we still miss them! They all have their very unique personalities but they all share a sweet disposition - truly lovely and well-behaved dogs. Thank you Randy and Wanda - you are amazing hosts, we really enjoyed our time with you and the girls....see you soon!!

House sit testimonial
Randy and Wanda were super hosts for us. Their home in the mountains of Panama were spectacular. The views incredible. Because of the altitude the temperatures were more moderate than down on the coast. The location is reasonably close to all amenities and beaches. Hawks Nest is great getaway
We looked after the Hawks Nest (name of the BnB) the entire month of December 2018. We enjoyed it very much. Randy and Wanda are great people and we now consider them our friends. They made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. We LOVED the 4 dogs: Lucy, Stella, Sally and Foxy. They all have their unique character traits and we enjoyed each of them. The home has beautiful ocean and mountain views along with a lovely pool and hot tub. It is a bit remote, but this was part of the attraction for us. The star gazing is awesome. Randy and Wanda were easy to communicate during the sit in case we needed anything or had any questions. They were also great at suggestion places to check out in the area. We would do a another sit here in a heartbeat.
