Stunning 'tropical house' in St Leonards on Sea, UK

About this assignment

We will be away from 25th June to 2nd July. I need someone (or a couple) who is a non-smoker, who will spoil my friendly lovely 4 cats, who is green-fingered to take care of the plants, and who will appreciate our stunning house and treat it well. You need to have a car - not to get around but in case of a vet emergency.

What responsibilities are required of the house sitter

Feeding and cuddling our four lovely cats. Taking care of the approximately 40 plants, as well as the house. It would be great if the house were quite clean when I return.

What are the good features of the property and location

Very large, modern, light, open plan house half a mile from the sea, with sea views and lovely garden. Two double rooms available, one en-suite. The area is very 'arty'. It's a mile from Hastings, half an hour to Eastbourne on the train (or Rye the other direction), an hour to Brighton, and hour and forty minutes to London.

What does the house sitter need to consider before applying for this assignment

Non-smokers. Must be very cat-friendly - my cats are very sociable and like to hang out with 'their' people. Although the house is walking distance from small shops, the sea etc, a car is essential, in the unlikely even of needing to take any of the cats to the vet. I am looking for an individual or a couple who are relatively quiet, as there is an annex attached to the house, where a tenant lives - so no loud parties or music etc allowed.

Please note that I don't have any testimonials from house-sitters as I haven't used this site for a few years, and they have introduced testimonials in that time. However, I have had several sitters through this site for some 12 years, and in every case everything worked out perfectly.

Can I bring my own pets?
