Our site has been set up to receive payment of your annual membership fee by either your debit or credit card. We're paying a hefty percentage of our gross income to Paypal, a third party merchant services provider, to securely process your payments for us while guaranteeing the security of your financial information. If you don't have your own debit or credit card consider asking to use a friend or relative's card as the card's billing address does not have to match your home address for the payment to go through.
Paypal accepts the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and PayPal, as well as a few others depending on where you are located (eg Switch and Solo debit cards from the UK are also accepted).
If you'd rather not make a payment online you can make a payment for your annual house sitters membership by international money order (IMO) or through a funds transfer service such as Western Union. Send it to our postal address but please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us that your payment is on the way. Please include a note in your letter with the following information:
You will still need to register online with our service to create your new house sitter account in our database. To get started, choose 'Register' from the home page and go from there. Your registration will be complete when you get to the 'Pay Now' button.
Note that your payment should be in New Zealand dollars and should reach us as 'cleared funds'. (If you send your payment in your local currency our bank will levy a currency conversion charge that we will have to ask you to cover by returning your IMO and asking for a new money order for a greater amount.) Please also note that you won't be able to activate your house sitter membership until we have been able to cash your IMO which may result in a frustrating delay for you!
